Privacy Policy

Digital Fish Solutions LLC ("us", "we", or "our") operates the Fish Masters Live mobile application and https://fishmasterslive.com (collectively, the "Service").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect information when you use our Service, and describes your privacy rights.

Summary. We collect what the app needs to run: your account details, and the catches you log — which include a photo, a measurement, and the location where you caught the fish. Catches you submit to tournaments and the public feed are visible to other anglers. We do not sell your data or share it with data brokers. We use a limited set of analytics and install-attribution tools, described in full below.

Definitions

  • Service — the Fish Masters Live mobile application and website operated by Digital Fish Solutions LLC.
  • Personal Data — information that identifies or relates to an identifiable individual.
  • Usage Data — technical data generated by your interaction with the Service, used to operate, secure and improve it.

Information we collect and why

1. Information you provide

  • Email address
  • Name or display name
  • Profile photo and optional profile information you choose to provide

Used to create and manage your account, authenticate you, provide app features, and respond to support requests.

2. Catches, photos and location

When you log a catch, we store:

  • The photo you captured
  • The measured length and girth, and the species
  • The GPS coordinates of the catch and a reverse-geocoded address
  • Weather conditions at the time and place of the catch
  • Any optional details you add — notes, lure, retrieve, structure, depth, water clarity

Location is used to place your catch on your personal map, to check eligibility for tournaments that have a geographic boundary, and to attach weather data. You can decline location access in your device settings; some features will not work without it.

Catches can be public. When you enter a catch into a tournament, it is visible to every other angler in that tournament — including the photo, the measurement, the species and the time. Catches also appear in the public activity feed and on leaderboards, and other users can react and comment where you allow it. Treat any location you log as something other anglers may be able to see.

3. Usage and diagnostic data

  • Crash reports and stability data
  • Basic performance and feature-usage metrics
  • Device and app version information

The website

https://fishmasterslive.com is a static site. It has no accounts, no logins and no forms, and it does not receive any of your app data.

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people read and which links they use. This sets cookies in your browser. You can block them with your browser settings or an extension, and the site works normally without them.
  • App Store links. Links to the App Store and Google Play carry a campaign parameter identifying which page you clicked from. This tells us which articles lead to installs. It does not identify you.
  • No advertising cookies. The site does not currently run an advertising pixel. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

Advertising, attribution and tracking

We do not sell personal data, share it with data brokers, or use it to build advertising profiles about you.

The app does include the Meta (Facebook) SDK, which we use for install and subscription attribution — measuring whether an advertisement we ran led to an install or a subscription. Because that involves data that may be linked with a third party for advertising measurement, the app asks for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.

If you decline that prompt, we do not perform this attribution. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Service providers

We use trusted third parties to operate the Service. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own advertising or tracking. These include providers for:

  • Authentication, database, file storage, push notifications and crash reporting
  • Social feed and notification delivery
  • Subscription management and receipt validation
  • Weather data
  • Transactional email
  • Website analytics

Payments

Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple and Google through the App Store and Google Play. We never see or store your payment card details. Billing, refunds and cancellation are handled by the platform.

Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to operate the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, from the app under Profile → Settings → Manage Account, or by emailing us.

Some records — such as moderation decisions on submitted catches — are retained as an audit trail after an account is deleted.

Data transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We take reasonable measures to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, or export your data, and to withdraw consent. Contact us at privacy@fishmasterslive.com to make a request.

Children's privacy

Fish Masters Live is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
